It is important for every business to have viable a working emergency operations plan (EOC's) or business continuity plans(BCP) for their business. Disaster and recovery costs continue to rise and the costs are trending upward. A current EOC or BCP can ensure that your business can continue to operate with only minor downtime and loss of revenue. If your business has a plan - your business should ensure that it is updated at least annually. Additionally, it is imperative that your employees are aware and trained regarding their role (s) in relation to the plan. Otherwise the EOC or BCP is just another report with no value.
